Job Title: *HARBOUR Program Coordinator*

If further funding sources are found, the position could be extended past this date, but is not guaranteed.

*_ *Description of Work:* The Helping Achieve Recovery Through Opioid Use Reduction (HARBOUR) program was established in Burke County in 2019 through a Bureau of Justice Administration (BJA) grant.
The purpose of the HARBOUR program is to reduce the negative impacts of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) by supporting individuals and families in their recovery journey in Burke County.
This is accomplished through partnerships with Burke Recovery Court, Burke Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD), Burke Council on Alcohol and Chemical Dependence, Community Paramedicine, Olive Branch Ministry, and other community partners.
The HARBOUR Program Coordinator will be a vital connector of these agencies and resources, in addition to providing direct support for individuals referred into the program from community partners.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* *Recovery Community Center (RCC) Coordination* * Coordinate & schedule “Peer Living Room” Hours and calendar of events/trainings at the RCC for individuals for individuals referred from community partners (LEAD, Recovery Court, Community Paramedicine, Olive Branch) * Expand/enhance community partnerships to support the sustainability of the RCC * Collect & report data demonstrating RCC outcomes *Community Training & Support* * Conduct community trainings on naloxone, opioid use disorder, and other related topics * Provide behavioral health trainings such as: QPR for Suicide Prevention, Mental Health First Aid, Wellness Recovery Action Planning * Coordinate Peer Support Certification and continuing education trainings for Peer Support Specialists with Western Piedmont Community College *Overdose Fatality Review/Public Health Support* * Participate in monthly Overdose Fatality Review/Public Health and Safety Team (OFR/PHAST) meetings and provide perspectives representing individuals with lived experience.
* Assist in data collection for OFR/PHAST team meetings.
* Conduct kinship interviews & corresponding reports for overdose fatality case reviews *Peers Partnering for Excellence Network Support* * Facilitate meetings.
* Manage membership & invitation list.
* Coordinate meeting schedule; dates, times, and locations * Provide administrative support to the group.
*Other Duties as Required* *Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in a human services field such as social work, counseling, psychology, special education, deaf education, rehabilitation counseling or marriage and family therapy from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in social work, counseling, preferably with the client population; or bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in counseling or a related human services field providing experience in the techniques of casework, group work, or community organization; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes* Must possess oral and written communication skills, ability to make sound decisions, close attention to details, clear understanding of policies and procedures, organizational skills and mathematical skills.
The applicant must also possess excellent computer skills.
Knowledge of governmental and private organizations and community resources.
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies which govern the program.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrative superiors, peers, and partner organizations.
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work.
*Preferred Training & Experience Requirements* * NC Peer Support Specialist Certification * 2 Years Experience as a Peer Support Specialist.
* 2 years of experience providing behavioral health training * 1 year of management or leadership experience * 1 year of experience coordinating and facilitating collaborative groups and partnerships Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $24.
