Truck Loader / Straight Truck Driver

Summary Job Description This position is responsible for operating scanning tools to stage and load product into trailers and drive a truck up to 2 - 3 days a week.
Essential Duties Manually loads and unloads shipments of furniture and related products to/from truck trailers Uses scanner tool to stage product in warehouse and on trucks Uses hand trucks and forklifts to transport items through the shipping or receiving area Drive the straight truck to pick up or deliver items up to 3 days a week Required to read and understand ship documents Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Position Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience is preferred Valid driver's license and good driving record Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
