Now you can purchase a side of beef or a whole cow or steer from JPK Farms, processed and packaged in various select cuts of your choice in clear vacuum packaging, labeled by style cut and weight.
JPK Farms will deliver the live animal to a certified meat processor within a certain radius of Hickory, NC, or to another meat processor of your choice; and 3 weeks later, deliver the packaged meat products to your door when the processing is completed.
To reserve you position for a processing date, you will have to contact us to determine availability of the cow or steer and the approximate weight and price at any given time.
A half-beef currently runs around $1300 to $1500 which includes processing and packaging.
We require a $200 deposit when you reserve it.
It is on a first come, first serve basis.
