Safe Sound Mule - $3,500 (Love Valley NC)

I've contemplated this post for awhile but it is not fair for Possum to stand in the pasture & go to waste 17 year old (vetted) 14.
2hh UTD on coggins & had his teeth floated in December 2023 My daughter (in the pics riding him) is 5'6" & 150lbs Possum is a great little mule, he truly is! He's been very well taken care of & loved.
He has many years under the saddle left to offer you! He's been my daughters ride for years now.
(She's driving now & you know the rest).
Possum will cross anything you put his nose to & Im not scared to put anyone on him.
He's in your pocket, no kick, buck, bite, rear.
No funny business in all our years owning him.
Stands to be groomed & saddled.
Easy keeper, can go barefoot & great for farrier.
Clips & bathes just fine.
Loads & backs off the trailer.
The very first to greet you in the pasture & eager for ear rubs! He's a lovely guy.
Jump on him bareback with a rope halter, he doesn't care.
Rides with a snaffle bit & takes it easily.
Doesn't have a mean bone in him, lower of the totem pole.
He can stand in the pasture for months & ride off beautifully.
He is safe for anyone! "Kid safe" very much depends on the kid with most horses & mules but this is the guy I have put nervous beginners on.
I prefer him to go to a home with mule knowledge, as much as you're looking for your dream ride I'm looking for him the best possible home! He is a trail mule, he gets very nervous in an arena so i do not suggest him for fun shows or anything like that.
He's happy in the woods or on trails.
I do soak his feed, 5 years ago he choked when we switched our feed so I've soaked it from then on.
He has the horrible habit of pawing while his feed bucket soaks! He doesn't paw while tied but when he sees the feed bucket soaking he goes to town! We do blanket him in the winter & he will come with his blanket.
That's honest the only negative thing i can say about Possum.
You can trust him to be safe & sane while your grandma swings a rope from him.
He's a great little mule! Nope I won't let you make payments.
Yes I'm firm on $3500.
