JOB SUMMARY: The Pharmacy Manager assists in the development and implementation of pharmacy departmental policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
Assists in the development of professional guidelines to ensure quality pharmacy services.
Either works closely with or under supervision of system Pharmacy Director.
Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: B.
S.
in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college
Experience: Three to five years of work related experience in pharmacy
License/Registration: Current license as a Pharmacist in the state of North Carolina
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Range of motion within functional limits.
Constant walking, standing, near vision to normal range.
Occasional work with arms overhead standing, work bent over standing/stooping, use of both hands together, far vision to normal range.
Frequent deviation from neutral position of wrist (opening bottles).
Frequent use of either hand, visual color discrimination, visual depth perception, functional vision and hearing.
Occasional pushing 20#, pulling 15#, lifting 3# to 78" height from 8" from floor.
Frequent manual/finger dexterity.
Occasional use of stepstool depending upon height of teammate.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires working under stressful conditions and working irregular hours, frequent exposure to toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a hospital environment.
Infrequent exposure to communicable diseases, blood and bodily fluids.

Schedule: Full Time, 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm but may have some early or late
