*Role Summary:* We are seeking an Executive Director who is not only passionate about recovery and community service but also exhibits a professional humility and a genuine interest in continuous learning.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of New Beginnings Hickory and ensure that our mission and values are effectively implemented.
This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate the complexities of addiction recovery while fostering an environment conducive to the growth and development of both residents and staff.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Manage daily operations, including resident intake and program implementation.
* Maintain and secure client records and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
* Supervise and train staff, conduct performance evaluations, and lead recruitment efforts.
* Develop and enforce recovery-focused policies and procedures.
* Maintain a positive recovery environment and facilitate house and staff meetings.
* Oversee financial management, including budgeting, grant writing and administration
* Coordinate building maintenance and manage vendor relations for necessary repairs.
* Manage donor relations using CRM software.
* Act as the primary ambassador of NBH in public forums to increase awareness, foster community partnerships, and expand our donor base.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven leadership experience preferably in a non-profit or recovery setting.
* Strong understanding of substance abuse recovery principles and the 12-Step program.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* Experience in budget management, grant writing, and other administrative capacities.
* Ability to work compassionately with diverse individuals and communities.
* Commitment to upholding the facility’s mission and values through personal integrity and professionalism.
