Position Summary:
A Group Lead, Finishing provides direction, instruction, and guidance to a group of individuals for the purpose of achieving a certain goal.
Group leaders serve various roles in an organization.
Their job is to get tasks done by using all of the resources available to them, including other employees or team members.
This position is for night shift.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop a strategy the team will use to reach its goal
Provide any training that team members need
Communicate clear instructions to team members
Listen to team members’ feedback
Monitor team members’ participation to ensure the training they are providing is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is needed
Manage the flow of day-to-day operations
Guide a group of employees as they complete a project
Develop and implement a timeline their team will use to reach its end goal
Delegate tasks to their members, including themselves
Directly supervise all hourly colleagues in the performance of their duties
Perform equipment set up
Perform inspection procedures
Conduct MBR review process
Coordinate manpower in support of achieving schedules while monitoring and driving employee and equipment productivity to achieve optimum results
Perform other duties as assigned

Possess knowledge of the FDA rules/regulations and ensure these rules are followed

Ensure direct reports are trained and work in compliance with applicable SOPs, cGMPs, regulatory requirements, safety, environmental and company policies
Ensure that all Batch Production Records are correctly filled out and completed in a timely fashion
Provide reports and updated spreadsheets, as required
Demonstrate the ability to set-up and operate any equipment used in the immediate work area
Be able to troubleshoot equipment and have the ability to problem solve any conflicts presented
Provide documentation showing a current eye exam, meeting the minimum requirements
Train and qualify as a visual inspector
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
