We are looking for a talented Welder - 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment team in Forest City, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Performs skilled activities which supports manufacturing business needs.
Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance.
Administers and documents welding qualification tests as required according to the department weld qualification procedures Interfaces with the various support groups, outside vendors, and customers to ensure that the maintenance, quality, and equipment requirements are being achieved.

Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Maintains a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks, while also performing planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
Maintains safety and comply with HSE standards, reporting incidents and hazards.

Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Education, Licenses, Certifications High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Certified Weld Inspector according to requirements set forth by AWS-QC 1-96, 30-45.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience 3 years of experience in a Welder role or equivalent formal training in a related field/industry or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector and readiness to adhere to safety measures.
Must be a quick learner and able to collaborate with others.
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Must have experience with troubleshooting methods.
Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility to work overtime as needed Must be able to understand and demonstrate SWI/MIG in welding area Must comply with all Environmental Management System (EMS) policies andprocedure Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
