What Will I Be Doing?
Pinnacle is in search of a full-time Qualified Professional or Mental Health Therapist to work with at-risk youth in schools.
FCT is one of few home-based treatment models that has extensive experience with families and youth who move between the child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice systems, otherwise known as “crossover youth.
” The candidate will conduct psychoeducation evaluation, family therapy sessions, and case management.
Am I A Good Fit?
This position requires travels to schools in Hickory.
/ Alexander County Attendance at weekly team meetings will also be required.
Employees receive extensive training and become certified in the Family Centered Treatment model.
You must be willing to work and travel throughout the coverage area of Hickory (Alexander County) and surrounding areas.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Master's degree is required
* Human Services degree preferred
* 2-years full time documented child mental health experience post human services Bachelor's level OR 1-year full time documented child mental health experience post human services Master's level required
* NC Clinical License: LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LMFT/A, or pending required
* Access to reliable transportation adhering to all NC Division of Motor Vehicle laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver’s license).
