Job Title: *Certified Nursing Assistant * Location: *Morganton, NC* Salary: *$19 per hour | $608 Weekly* Shift: *8x4s - 32hours | Nights* *Job description:* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at our facility in Morganton, NC.
As a CNA, you will provide vital direct care services to our elderly or disabled residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
*Responsibilities:* - Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Observe residents' health conditions, report any changes to the nursing staff, and assist with basic medical procedures.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their social engagement and fostering a pleasant living environment.
- Document all care activities and maintain accurate records of resident interactions and observations.
- Assist with the maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized living space for residents.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans for residents.
- Follow all established protocols and regulations for infection control and residents' safety.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
*Qualifications:* - Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of North Carolina.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to assist residents with mobility and perform lifting tasks when necessary.
