The Yamaha CPX15 guitars were built in Yamaha's custom shop in Japan.
Each each guitar was handmade by a single luthier using high-quality woods and materials.
The WA model is inspired by the American West with an interlocking longhorn design around the soundhole, concho belt inlays on the fretboard in Perrl and Turquoise, Walnut back and sides, and Antique Sunburst finish.
This was made sometime between 1998 and 2002, I believe.
It's more than 20 years old, now.
The built-in preamp, piezo pickup, and microphone provide plenty of sound control from the guitar.
The piezo pickup has a volume control plus a three-band eq.
The microphone has a separate volume control and tone control.
There is also a adjustable mid frequency control.
It also sounds awesome unplugged.
There are a few dings and minor markings in the finish due to use.
I'm sure a good polish and buff could get them out if you wanted.
Also, I bought this used, and it came with a Fender hard shell case.
It's not the original case, but it fits the guitar fine.
