*Your Role:*
Marcal Paper is seeking to hire a Financial Planning and Analysis Associate for the Sales department to provide the sales and senior management teams in depth analysis of revenue.
The role will assist with new business quotes and profitability analyses of products and customers.
In this position, the individual will be required to calculate and present profitability of servicing products to Marcal customers, maintain price lists in the Company’s ERP system and uphold a high level of discipline in the Company’s pricing strategy.
This role will also provide in depth analysis of the Company’s customer base to help the sales team make the best pricing decisions.
The role will help shape the future of the organizations growing sales structure by creating new tools and reports to assist in leading the sales organization.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, exhibiting intellectual curiosity and interested in learning all facets of the business with an eye toward future roles in the organization.
Strong work ethic is a must, and a track record of over-performing, while interested in sales, manufacturing, logistics and the intersection of all three.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities: *
· Provides price quotes to the sales team based on the Company’s cost to service.
· Maintains price lists for all customers and customer locations in ERP system.
· Maintains, updates, and innovates pricing models to support the sales team and senior management in evaluating new business opportunities.
· Works collaboratively across all business functions to better understand the different components of pricing including manufacturing, freight, and customer rebate programs
· Create tools and analyze the outputs to assist in the tracking of customer engagement to ensure an effective pricing strategy is in place for the different products.
· Sales analytics tool creation to help provide in depth manageable data for the sales team.
· Assist with Monthly Financial Revenue Reporting.
· In depth analysis of monthly Revenue.
· Assist with Budget Preparation and Maintenance.
· Addresses issues and concerns raised by team members related to pricing.
· Reports issues and concerns related to pricing to senior management.
· Uphold a high level of discipline of the Company’s pricing strategy.
· In depth modeling of item and customer P&L’s to better inform pricing decisions.
· Ad hoc reports as required and participate in weekly company performance metrics.
· Troubleshoots processing errors and analyze and correct data issues.
· Preparation of Board materials for monthly and quarterly meetings.
*Requirements:*
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
o Comfortable with numbers and large databases
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or in a related field; MBA or CPA a plus
· Experience working in an ERP system
· Excellent analytical and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
00 - $90,000.
