PROMOTIONS AND MERCHANDISE INTERN
Reports to: Assistant General Manager of Marketing
Job Description:
Able to work all games/events and help the promotions department stay on script by finding contestants, operating pressbox equipment, directing game day promotions staff or other duties as assigned
Curate and manage the playlists for the in-stadium sound system
Brainstorm ideas for between inning games and prepare trivia related questions as requested by the promotions director
Tag new merchandise inventory and restock the store following each game/event
Answer phones and help customers with ticket purchases
Assist in grassroots marketing efforts such as pocket schedule deliveries and flyer distribution
Help with creating and executing marketing plans for theme nights and daily promotions such as Bark in the Park or Thirsty Thursdays
Work with community members of all ages and abilities as well as other staff members
Be courteous, friendly, reliable, and punctual.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and customer service.
Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority and workload demands.
Must be able to lift, pull push and/or carry 30 pounds as necessary.
Ability to stand, sit and walk for up to 6-8 hours.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
