Automotive OEM and Aftermarket Accessories Manager You will work directly with our customers to personalize their new and used vehicles, and you will work closely with sales, service, and parts to accomplish this.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who likes cars and has good people skills.
Mission of the Position: The mission of this position is to work with each new and used vehicle customer to help them personalize and customize their vehicle to fit their needs and tastes.
By doing this, we improve the customer’s overall purchase experience, we provide them with one stop shopping for all of their vehicular needs, and we also add greatly to the bottom line of the dealership.
The Accessories Manager sells and merchandises all OEM and aftermarket products for the dealership.
This position plans and forecasts monthly objectives and works in concert with the new, used, parts and service departments to maximize gross profit opportunities.
Automotive Parts Accessories Manager - Essential Duties Merchandises all OEM and aftermarket accessory displays.
Maintains show books and photo galleries of accessorized vehicles.
Maintains inventory and back stock items.
Ensures proper installation of dealer-installed items is performed before delivery.
Attends all sales and service meetings as the resource expert on all accessory questions.
Keeps informed on all products and trends in the market and attends industry events as an ambassador of the dealership.
Works on service drive contacting customers for sales opportunities.
Communicates with sales and service departments and facilitates team building.
Always maintains professionalism.
Other tasks as assigned.

Automotive Parts Accessories Manager - Qualifications A successful Accessories Manager needs the product knowledge, professionalism and empathy that customers are looking for.
Communication is extremely important in a sales department as it contributes to team building with all dealership departments.

Bilingual is a plus Meeting with each sales customer or sales associate and taking them through our accessories sales process Meeting with walk in or call in customers for their accessories needs Following up with customers that have been missed or could not be spoken to earlier Providing detailed and accurate quotes for accessories to customers Keeping detailed records of accessory sales and customer contacts Scheduling customers for installation Communicating with customers throughout the installation process Quality checking installed items and delivering vehicle back to customers Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction Working with sales to upfit new vehicles with accessories for display on our lot Assisting with accessories marketing tasks Other parts and/or service related tasks Work Environment This position is conducted from a dedicated accessories office located in our new vehicle showroom.
This allows for convenient meetings with sales customers and personnel.
You will work directly with representatives from both parts and service for the execution of sold jobs.
You will report to the Sales, Parts and Service managers, and you will work very closely with the general sales manager.
Hours worked will somewhat mirror the sales department’s hours to ensure that we maximize customer opportunities.
