*Travel Required: * Less than 20%
*Job Summary:*
This position is for an Avionics Technician of IOMAX USA Inc.
and it is located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
*Roles and Responsibilities:*
* Installation of equipment on end user platforms – e.
g.
fixed wing aircraft, including implementation of airframe/ electrical/avionics modifications
* Fabricate and test electrical wiring harnesses
* Integration and test of complete systems prior to shipment
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and assigned aircraft
* Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems
* May be required to deploy overseas for short term assignments to support maintenance and or integration projects
* Assist with other related duties as assigned
*Qualifications Required:*
At least five (5) years of specialized work experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
For this position, specialized experience is demonstrated experience in Avionics systems functionality and technical installation.
Additionally, applicant must possess the following skills and characteristics:
* Comprehensive ability to interpret wiring drawings and schematics
* Familiar with the installation, sustainment and integration requirements and special testing and tooling equipment
* Ability to analyze work situations and resolve issues with a minimum of supervision
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in restricted areas and lift up to 40 lbs.
* Must be able to use a computers and MS Office type applications
* Work well with a team
* Works well with all levels of management
