As a *Site Controller,* you will be “hands-on” and responsible for various financial, statistical, and analytical reporting, supporting applications to the General Ledger (i.
e.
Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc.
) are analyzed and reviewed on a continuous basis to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
Assists with special projects.
Performs other related duties as required.
*You will * * Financial reporting * Responsible for month end close * Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts, Manage fixed asset reporting * Monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget and forecast * Journal Entries * Payroll processing * Internal control compliance * AR and AP Processing * Credit and collections * Monthly bank reconciliation * Sales & Use tax filings * Resolve moderately complex reconciliations and account analysis problems requiring in-depth research * Prepare a variety of financial and accounting records and reports including revenue and expenditure reports, executive summaries, and aging reports * Forecasting and budgeting The *Site controller* is part of the Robotic Gripping division (VARG division).
You will report directly to the *Operations Director, Joulin, Robotic Gripping division*, and the position is based in Hickory, NC.
Accounting/ Site Controller works closely with the other members of the Management Team and other departments central to the company as well as representatives of Piab.
In this role, you are required to act according to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission, and routines.
*We are looking for* * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (advanced Excel skills required) * Experienced with ERP systems; working knowledge of Genuis ERP a plus but not required * Proficient with good accounting practices * Quickly understands and analyses complex issues and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgements * Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development * Communicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively * Strong interpersonal skills required to work with co-workers, management, and customers * Co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience, and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals *Skills, Experience, and Educational Background* * A BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required.
* CPA preferred but not required.
