Position Summary:
The Fill Technician supports the ongoing development, manufacture, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in compliance with local administration.
The Fill Technician will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line
Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks
Ensure adequate supply, function, and output of production equipment
Adjust filler to include timing & fill volume per QA request
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing as required
Perform line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
Complete pre and post cleaning per production run
Ensure all required information is properly documented in accordance with SOP’s
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Follow all required work safe practices
This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, etc
Complete Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter.
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Must have good communication skills
Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division)
Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 20 pounds continuously
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work in confined spaces
Must have good hygiene
Ability to wear full cleanroom garb for up to 5 hours at a time
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma / or equivalent required
Associate degree preferred
