JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Responsible for ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and facilities in their charge operate at peak efficiency.
Responsible for maintenance and repairs of machinery, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent required.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in all tasks related to facility maintenance.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during routine production hours.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as needed.
Repair or oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions.
Comply with all health and (OSHA) safety regulations and practices on site.
Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
Conduct preventative maintenance work.
Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
Maintain effective, professional, courteous and respectful communication with supervisor and other team members.
