RW Garcia, a subsidiary of Utz Brands, is looking to grow their loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Material Handler to join their team of manufacturing professionals in Lincolnton, NC on Second Shift.
As a Material Handler, this candidate will be primarily responsible to perform a variety of duties related to the organization, storage and movement of products and materials within a warehouse or distribution center.
This position reviews customer orders or production requirements, pulls products and materials from bins, and loads, unloads, and transfers items among trucks, facilities and freight containers utilizing material handling equipment.
This schedule will work Mon-Fri 03:00pm-11:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
Supply the production lines with raw materials for production in a timely manner.
Wrap finished product pallets and stage them in the appropriate lane for shipping.
Perform material verifications and inventory counts as necessary.
Pick LTL shipments for shipping and record lot numbers.
Count, verify, rotate, and put away raw materials as needed.
Ensure raw materials are segregated properly (i.
e.
, Organic kept separate from non-organic and Allergens stored properly below non-allergen items).
Load and unload trucks as directed and apply all labels as needed.
Clean, straighten and organize the warehouse as needed, ensuring 18” white access line is kept clear around interior of building.
Interpret reports and order status sheets.
Restock raw materials once production is done production (ensure pallets are clean, organized, and that all ingredients are labeled.
Supervise the unloading of bulk deliveries.
Run floor cleaner and maintain warehouse and shipping and receiving areas free of debris.
Perform any other duties as required by any Manager, Supervisor and Leads.

Requirements:
2-3 years' experience working in the warehouse or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying.
Valid driver license, transportation and automobile liability insurance in limits acceptable to Company.
Read, write and basic math skills, accuracy, must be detail oriented.
Requires knowledge of warehouse organization, processes and procedures, and the ability to operate hand-trucks, forklifts, conveyors and other equipment.
Work in a noisy environment with large machinery.
Able to work on weekends and OT when needed.
Must be able to stand for prolong periods, stoop, climb, reach overhead, crawl, bend.
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgment in making decisions within the scope of authority of the position.
Ability to think and work effectively under pressure and accurately complete tasks within established times.
