Full Job Description
RESPONSIBILITY
The Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk will be responsible for weekly, biweekly & monthly payroll functions for clients as well as bookkeeping duties monthly and quarterly.
Description of Duties:
· Full charge bookkeeping
· Monthly & quarterly Sales tax reports
· Prepare payroll (live & after the fact) with some direct deposit.
· Schedule Monthly & Quarterly payroll tax payments
· Prepare Quarterly PR reports.
· Prepare Year End payroll reports (W-2s & 1099s)
Requirements:
-Skill and knowledge of Sage (Peachtree), QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing and technical accounting duties
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Should have the ability to organize, prioritize and effectively communicate with clients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
