** This Rehabilitation Counselor in Charge (CIC) position is located in the Statesville Sub-Office of the Salisbury VR Unit.
This position works in organizing and directing the delivery of vocational rehabilitation services in the office serving individuals with disabilities in Iredell CountyJob responsibilities include the following: Assist Unit Manager with work which involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the technical and administrative components of a diverse rehabilitation program consisting of multiple caseloads, third-party programs, and a limited number of specialized rehabilitation programsPersonnel administration, staff development/training, and consultation/technical assistance provided to subordinate staffWork may include other related assignments as determined by Unit ManagerAssist individuals on the caseload with job development, job placement and other services to complete a rehabilitation plan for employment Selected applicant needs to have the means to travel as the job requires.
