DeMayo Law Offices is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and multi-tasking Legal Assistant who will be responsible for providing world-class customer service, accurately initiating client files; reviewing documents, assembling information, and entering client data needed to complete the set-up process.
Responsibilities
Providing quality customer service to clients over the phone
Enter information found on the sign-up and intake documents into firm’s Litify database
Send out notice letters of the firm’s involvement in the case
Make/receive twenty plus calls per day to/from clients
Resolve client questions, provide updates on status of the case, and document communications in our case management software
Review documents & scan into the case file daily
Send documents to clients periodically
Assist the Mass Tort Manager and Supervisor on projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred; however, a combination of education, certifications and experience may be considered
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Excellent data entry skills
Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
Persistence to follow up on requested information
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office and ability to learn and use various software programs
Prior experience with Litify or other CRM software a plus
